Texas Heat Is Dry Heat, Mostly
Austin in October is warmer and drier than the southern festivals people often compare it to, which changes what works.

Festival fashion here skews more toward Texas and Americana influences than to rave uniform, and the aesthetic is generally daytime-oriented rather than built for blacklight.
