Shop Pride Crop Tops in Rainbow and Flag Prints

Our pride collection covers halter, triangle, tube, bra top, cut-out and strappy cuts in sizes XS to XXL, mostly spandex and mesh. Two things are worth deciding before you order. First, whether you're dressing for a daytime parade or a night event, since bright and neon prints behave very differently under sunlight than under blacklight. Second, how much you need the top to stay put, because parades involve several hours of standing, walking and arms in the air, and strapless cuts need a tighter band than strapped ones.

What Makes a Top a Pride Top?

Pride tops are defined by print rather than cut. Rainbow is the most common, but the category also covers the color palettes of specific flags, along with neon and multicolor designs that read as celebratory without carrying a particular flag. The cuts themselves are the same ones we stock across the rest of the site, so you're choosing a silhouette that suits you and then choosing the print.

Because print is doing the work, this collection overlaps heavily with our colorful crop tops range, which covers multicolor designs more broadly.

Rainbow, Progress and Flag Palettes

Not every pride print is the six-stripe rainbow, and the palettes are visually distinct enough to matter when you're planning an outfit.

  • Six-stripe rainbow: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. The highest contrast and the most legible from a distance.

  • Progress chevron: The rainbow with black, brown, and pale pink, white and light blue arranged as a chevron on the left.

  • Trans palette: Pale pink, white and light blue. Much lower contrast than the rainbow, which changes how it photographs and how it holds up under lighting.

  • Bi palette: Magenta, purple and deep blue. Reads darker overall and works well at night events.

  • Lesbian palette: Oranges through to pinks and white, warmer and more tonal than the rainbow.

Check product photos for which palette a given piece uses, since stripe order and proportion vary between designs. If you want a single color rather than a palette, our blue tops for women and the rest of the color collections cover that.

Will a Rainbow Top Show Up Under Blacklight?

It depends on which end of the palette you're looking at, and this catches people out because a rainbow print contains colors that behave in opposite ways under UV.

The bright end holds up. Fluorescent pinks, yellows, oranges and greens re-emit UV as visible light, so they intensify under a blacklight rig. Deep blues, violets and anything dark absorb it and go close to black. The practical result is that a standard rainbow top often loses its lower stripes under UV and reads as a partial print rather than a full spectrum. Neon-printed versions keep more of the design visible.

Pale palettes have a different issue. White and light pastels tend to fluoresce brightly under blacklight because of optical brighteners in the fabric, which can make a soft palette look far more intense than intended. If you're heading to an indoor night rather than a daytime event, our rave crop tops flag which pieces are built for UV lighting.

What to Wear to a Pride Parade

Parades are daytime, outdoor and long, which makes them closer to a day festival than a club night in terms of what actually works.

Sun exposure is the main one. Several hours outdoors with bare shoulders means sunscreen, and sunscreen is worth thinking about before you pick a top, since the avobenzone in many formulas can leave yellow marks on white and pale fabrics that are difficult to remove. If your top has significant white in it, apply sunscreen well before dressing and let it absorb fully.

Beyond that: a cut you don't have to adjust all day is worth more than a cut that photographs marginally better. Strapped styles like our halter neck tops and spaghetti strap tops stay put through raised arms and crowd movement with less thought than strapless. Bag straps also sit across the print, so a fanny pack at the waist keeps a chest design visible in a way a crossbody strap won't.

Pride Tops by Cut

  • Halter neck: Ties or fastens behind the neck, leaving shoulders and back bare. Secure through movement.

  • Triangle top: Minimal and clean lined, which lets a bold print sit uninterrupted. See the full triangle tops range.

  • Wrap triangle: The triangle shape with straps that wrap and tie around the torso. Our wrap triangle tops cover this cut.

  • Bra top: Structured, close fitting and the most supportive of the minimal cuts. More in bra top styles.

  • Tube top: Strapless and held by the band. Browse strapless tube tops for the wider range.

  • Underboob: Cropped high under the bust. Our underboob tops collection has the full set.

  • Cut-out and strappy: Panels, criss-cross straps and open backs, adding structure to a plain print.

Print Placement on a Cropped Cut

Stripe direction interacts with cut in a way that's easy to overlook. Horizontal stripes on a cropped top may only give you two or three bands of color before the hem, so a six-stripe rainbow can end up truncated. Vertical or diagonal stripes fit the full palette into a smaller garment and stay recognizable.

Slogan and symbol designs have a related issue: a chest print on a crop sits close to the hem, and anything printed low can be cut off by the garment edge. Text-led designs generally sit better on a longer cut. Our graphic print tops cover slogan and symbol styles across cuts.

Fabric

  • Spandex blends: Stretch and recovery, which matters on strapless and strappy cuts that rely on grip. Also holds color well through repeat wear.

  • Polyester: Takes bright and neon dye more readily than natural fibers, which is why most fluorescent pride prints are polyester based.

  • Mesh: Light and breathable, and the more comfortable option for a long day outdoors or a packed indoor room. Opacity varies, so check product photos.

Washing a Multicolor Print

Multicolor garments have a specific problem: the darker dyes can bleed onto the lighter areas of the same garment, so a rainbow top can muddy itself in the wash without ever touching another item. Wash it cold, separately for the first few washes, and don't leave it sitting wet in the machine, since prolonged damp contact is when transfer happens.

Turn prints inside out to reduce abrasion, skip fabric softener on stretch fabrics because it coats the fibers and reduces recovery, and avoid the dryer on anything with spandex content. Body glitter is worth shaking off outdoors before the garment goes anywhere near a wash, since it settles in the drum and transfers to the next load.

Styling and Accessories

A bold print carries the outfit, so the rest can stay plain. High-waisted shorts and platform boots, or statement pants with a minimal triangle top up top. Mesh layered over a bra top adds texture without competing on color.

  • Fanny packs and mini backpacks: Practical over a long day, and a waist bag keeps a chest print clear.

  • Layered chokers and chains: Silver reads cleanly against most palettes.

  • Body glitter and face gems: Gems hold better on clean skin, so apply before sunscreen rather than over it.

  • Statement sunglasses: Genuinely useful at a daytime parade, not just a look.

  • Rainbow socks and leg garters: Pull color down the outfit if the top is your only printed piece.

Beyond Pride Month

These aren't single-use pieces. The cuts are the same ones we stock year round, so a rainbow halter works at any summer festival and a neon palette suits club nights regardless of season. Our summer crop tops and party crop tops cover the same cuts in other prints if you want to build around one piece.

Sizing

Sizes run XS to XXL. On strapless and triangle cuts, measure your underbust as well as your bust, since those styles sit on the ribcage. Check the size chart on the product page, and if you're between sizes on a strapless cut, sizing down usually holds better through a long day.

Your new look is practically in the bag. Don’t leave it hangin’!
